AE Cares leads with purpose - mobilizing people, resources, and partnerships to meet critical needs in our communities. These efforts are channeled into three focus areas - Veteran Support, Racial Equity & Advocacy, and Community Service. We are driven by the goal of bridging gaps by lending our hands, hearts, and support to our local communities.

Veteran Support & Military Family Care
AE Cares was founded with a deep respect for the service and sacrifice of military Veterans and their families. We recognize that for many Veterans, the return home comes with complex challenges - housing instability, healthcare navigation, and emotional isolation. Our Veteran support programs are designed to respond with dignity, respect, and sustained care.
Our Key Initiatives Include:
- Resource Navigation & Referrals: Connecting disabled Veterans with trusted partners for housing, financial aid, and health services.
- Veterans and Family Wellness Initiative: Promoting long-term wellbeing for veterans, spouses, and children through integrated wellness programming
- Honor Flight Support: Funding and supporting Honor Flight journeys for Veterans to visit national war memorials in Washington D.C. - many for the first time.
- Memorial Day Flag Placements: Organizing volunteer efforts to place remembrance flags on thousands of Veterans' gravesites across Wisconsin.
Advancing Racial Equity
We believe racial equity must be pursued with sustained investment. AE Cares joins in the fight for a future where access and opportunity are not determined by race. We are committed to dismantling systemic barriers by equipping young people of color with the resources, networks, and opportunities to thrive in education, tech, and civic life.
Our Key Initiatives Include:
- Scholarship Fund: Annual college scholarships for students of color pursuing higher education, especially in underrepresented fields.
- STEM Access and Mentorship: In partnership with Maydm and i.c. Stars, we fund training, mentorship, and exposure to career pathways in science, technology, and innovation.
- Collaborative Partnerships: AE Cares supports and volunteers with equity-centered nonprofits including Habitat for Humanity, Feeding America, and others across Wisconsin.
Community Service & Employee Engagement
Service is in our DNA. Through AE Cares Days, every employee at AE Business Solutions receives paid time to volunteer for the causes they care about. This initiative enforces a culture of giving where services isn't just encouraged but also structure into how we operate.
Volunteering Efforts Include:
- Supporting Local Food Pantries: AE Business Solutions employees help multiple food pantries package groceries for easy distribution throughout the communities we serve.
- Preserving and Protecting Nature: Employees also contribute to restoration efforts such as "Prairie Restoration Effort" at Walking Iron County Park, dispersing seeds to restore and strengthen the landscape.
- Fundraising Events and Donations: AE Business Solutions employees also lead creative fundraising events - silent auctions, bike rides, and donation drives - all in support of AE Cares.
